One Crane At A Time

Project Paper Crane is raising money for earthquake relief in Japan. For every $2 that students donate, Project Paper Crane will make add an orange paper crane to the installation located on the lawn between Schine and Newhouse. And SU alum will donate $2 more for every $2 donated by current SU students. The goal is to raise $14,000 within the student body and produce 7,000 cranes. The installation is not finished yet, there is still much more room for cranes.

There will be a marathon crane-making event on May 2, from noon to 5 p.m. all day long on the Quad. Teams of four to five students will compete to see which team can make the most cranes in four hours.
